Salsiera in ceramica prodotta dalla manifattura francese Longwy, 1930s.
Questo oggetto rappresenta perfettamente tutti gli elementi dello stile Decò. Simmetria armonica, linee rette, finiture lucide e contrasto dei colori.
La forma di questa salsiera ricorda quasi una barca, e l'elemento forte è dato sicuramente dai due dettagli laterali, che sorreggono l'insieme della composizione come colonne.
Il decoro è molto semplice quanto efficace, lineare e nei toni del verde scuro e del porpora.
Il nome della manifattura si legge chiaramente sul fondo.
L'unico difetto è una piccolissima sbeccatura sul bordo laterale della salsiera, come si vede in foto. Non vi sono altre crepe o sbeccature.
